  • Hello! Our class today is going to be very short because you have been working very hard these days!

  • We are going to use the expressions and phrases we've learnt in this unit with a new function. Read the following phrases:
I'm not happy with the way he talks to me.
The problem is that it takes up so much time.
 He's always picking on me.
If I'm honest, I don't really like the violin.

  • Do you remember those phrases? Where did they appear? CORRECT! they were said by Mia, the girl in the photostory. What was she trying to express? What was she doing?Yes, she was COMPLAINING, she was expressing her dissatisfaction about learning the violin and her orchestra teacher.

  • Let's read and work with activities 1, 2, 3 page 15 WB.

HOMEWORK:

You aren't very happy with your brother or sister. He/ She plays loud music that you don't like when you're trying to work. He / She doesn't even keep the door closed. What else upsets you about this? You have decided to talk to him/her about it.

  • Write an e-mail to a friend explaining your problems (based on the situation above) and what you're going to do about them. Write about 200 words and use at least seven new expressions from this unit. (If you don't have any brothers or sisters invent one!) Consider this plan:

  • Study or revise the topics and grammar of this unit. Next class we're going to have a....(prepare yourself!). REMEMBER: there won't be a new class uploaded this Friday 10th because it's Holy Friday, thus it's a public holiday.
