Hello! Welcome to our 12th lesson!

Today we're going to revise PAST TENSES and also learn some new vocabulary.

Let's read and refresh our memory:



1- Underline the correct tense:



2- Put the verbs in brackets into the correct past tense:



3- DESCRIPTIVE VERBS. Certain verbs make narratives sound more dramatic. Find these words in a dictionary and write down:

b. their past simple and past participle forms

4- Replace the underlined words with words from the previous exercise. Change the form if necessary: (page 22 SB)



5- Look at the picture. Why do you think the cow was in court? Choose the best option:

b- It was interrupting a court meeting.
c- A man was accused of hurting a cow.



6- Listen to Ryan's talk. Then answer the questions:


a- When were animals taken to court?
b- In which parts of the world did this happen?

7- Listen again. For questions 1- 5, choose A, B or C.
